ElevenO2 worked with ESPN to create the concept of a living “Thank You Letter”. We wrote the script, chose the music, coordinated the self-record sessions, directed (remotely) and provided full editorial and finishing services.

ElevenO2 was tasked with writing and producing the Show Open for ESPN’s 2020 College Football Awards show (air date January 7th 2021).
The Challenge was two-fold… finding a unique approach to telling the story of the unprecedented 2020 season AND…  figuring out a way to shoot what was needed amidst nationwide COVID lockdowns and strict production protocols.

Creatively, EO2 decided to look at College Football as a whole and view the season through the eyes of all those it effected positively.  Hence, we created a visual THANK YOU note  to the sport from the student athletes and coaches who were able to do what they loved, the millions of fans who were given something to cheer about, and the health care staff and front line workers who looked to college football to provide a welcomed escape.

Without the ability to be on-site or send “traditional” camera crews to campuses, universities, and hospitals to film interviews and gather b-roll, EO2 leveraged university relationships and used in-house resources to film the subjects with COVID-compliant methods. This included tasking college students to use their smartphones to record themselves and their fellow students expressing their appreciation to college football.

The result was hugely successful and helped frame the theme of the entire 2020 College Football Awards broadcast.

Halftime Feature 2020. ElevenO2 wrote the script that told the story of the 150-year history of College Football and its greatest players. We worked with a GFX design partner to create the visual design, and provided full editorial and finishing services.

ElevenO2 was tasked to create a promo campaign around several key games and tournaments during the 2018-19 College Basketball season. We partnered with a freelance writer on the scripting for the entire campaign. ESPN provided a design toolkit that EO2 augmented and elevated. WWE Old Spice Campaign

ElevenO2 was tapped to produce WWE’s groundbreaking cross-platform digital campaign for their marketing partnership with Old Spice. EO2 produced and co-directed six story-driven digital vignettes and four custom commercials, resulting in over 30 million content views and 500 million impressions across social media platforms.

Menards Home Improvement Heroes

Menards empowered EO2 to create a commercial that married their deep-rooted involvement in motorsports with their corporate mission of making home improvement accessible to all. ElevenO2 developed and created the concept with Menards. EO2 produced the shoot, directed the commercial, and provided full editorial and finishing services.

MENARDS, the third-largest chain of Home Improvement stores in America (behind Lowe’s and Home Depot) hired ElevenO2 to create a national commercial that connected MENARDS’ strong commitment to racing (IndyCar and NASCAR) with their dedication to service and quality.

EO2 took Menard’s three most prominent drivers and literally placed them in consumer’s homes to directly convey the message that Menards is there to support race fans as they tackle do-it-yourself home improvement projects.

As a full-service production company, EO2 handled every aspect of the process from writing and producing through post-production and delivery.

MetroPCS UFC Callouts

ElevenO2 produced this ad campaign for MetroPCS, leveraging their roster of sponsored UFC fighters to create 10 commercials, over 30 pieces of social media content and numerous additional elements for interstitial content.

Frito Lay Cheetos

ElevenO2 was tapped to create a one-of-a-kind, soccer themed, experiential live event for the Cheetos snack brand. Presenting, Los Cheetahs! A freestyle soccer team in the vein of the Harlem Globetrotters that represented Cheetos’ core brand tenets of fun and mischief. We developed and created all original characters, on-field storylines and in-game fan interactions that came to life in front of a live audience in a pop-up stadium on the sands of Long Beach, Ca. EO2 oversaw the training/rehearsing of the athletes/actors and directed the entire event. This event won a Frito Lay “Salty” Award for Best Brand Activation

Frito Lay Cheetos

ElevenO2 was approached by global marketing agency United Entertainment Group (UEG) to create and produce a branded entertainment experience for Frito-Lay and the Cheetos snack brand that would appeal to the coveted Hispanic market.

Using data and analytics to inform strategy, we created LOS CHEETAHS…  a freestyle soccer team, in the vein of the Harlem Globetrotters, that would use Cheetos’ core brand tenets of fun and mischief, to compete against LOS JEFES, a team of rigid and serious traditionalists. The teams consisted of  original, larger-than-life characters and personalities created by EO2, and the “match” featured nuanced storylines, mind-blowing skills, over-the-top comedy and exciting fan-interactions.

We built a “pop-up” stadium on the sands of Long Beach, California and turned the game into a full day, marketing and promotional vehicle for the brand. The event attracted over 5,000 spectators and garnered over 500MM PR impressions. The post-game consumer satisfaction intercepts were the highest ever recorded for a Frito-Lay activation, including all SXSW and Doritos “Crash the Super Bowl” activations.

LOS CHEETAHS went on to partner with the Mexican National Soccer Team as a fan festival attraction for two seasons.

MEREDITH Corp. BrandFront Montage

ElevenO2 was brought on to produce the screen content for Meredith Corporation’s live, two-hour, Up-Front presentation. EO2 directed all the featured interviews, worked with a GFX design partner to create the visual design, and provided the editing and finishing services.

OFFICE HOURS Web Series

ElevenO2 was tasked with creating a design toolkit for this new digital series and implementing the elements into the teasers. We curated, crafted and presented multiple designs and then applied the approved work into the program.

ESPN SHOWDOWN ON THE REZ

ESPN entrusted ElevenO2 to produce the show open for a WNCAA Basketball event being held, for the first time ever, on a Navajo Indian Reservation. We collaborated with the Navajo Nation to understand the importance of the game of basketball to their culture. We co-wrote the script and directed the location filming. Additionally, EO2 handled the GFX design and provided the editorial and finishing.

Barry Bross was brought aboard as a showrunner, director, and post-producer for this one-hour broadcast special. The golf and culinary competition featured celebrities, athletes and chefs competing for money to be donated to charities of their choice.

ElevenO2 collaborated with TruTV to create a promo that creatively interwove KFC’s products with clips from the Impractical Jokers show. EO2 produced, directed, and provided the editorial and finishing services.

USA Network

ElevenO2 was brought on to conceptualize and write the promos for USA Network’s Hot Mama Drama Movie Marathon weekend.

Glory International

Glory Kickboxing came to ElevenO2 to help promote an upcoming Pay-Per-View event by highlighting their two top heavyweights. EO2 commissioned the original music, produced & directed the shoot, and provided the editorial and finishing.

Glory International

GLORY, a global kickboxing promotion based out of Singapore, enlisted ElevenO2 to create a unique digital promotion for their live Pay-Per-View event in Tokyo, Japan.

The directive was to cross-promote three elements important to the Glory brand:
Bone-crushing action, their two top heavyweights at the time (Rico Verhoeven and Errol Zimmerman), and their most popular brand ambassadors… the Glory Girls.

ElevenO2 used the opportunity to create a hybrid promo that was part clip spot, part ID shoot, part music video and 100% on-brand.  Elated with the result, GLORY asked us to expand the piece to 2:00 and ran it across all of their media platforms.
